Meet Dr. Ridley
Education & Training
Dr. Laura Ridley attended Auburn University, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Biomedical Science. She received her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree in 2008 from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and then completed a one-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency at the VA Medical Center in Birmingham, Alabama.
With seven dentists in her family, Dr. Ridley grew up surrounded by the profession—but it was the unique blend of science, artistry, and personal connection that ultimately inspired her own path in dentistry.
She has pursued extensive postdoctoral training in cosmetic and implant dentistry. Dr. Ridley has completed Level 4 Mastery at Aesthetic Advantage—a prestigious cosmetic program based at NYU under Dr. Larry Rosenthal, a pioneer in feldspathic veneers. She also completed implant training through Alabama Implant Education, giving her the surgical and restorative expertise to deliver comprehensive smile transformations.
Dr. Ridley is an active member of the American Dental Association and the Georgia Dental Association, and she is currently pursuing accreditation through the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD)—one of the highest honors in aesthetic dentistry.
Outside of the office, Dr. Ridley lives in Thomasville with her husband and three children. She enjoys playing soccer, being outdoors, and indulging in her favorite food: seafood.
