About Dental Cleanings
Here at Rose City Dentistry, our goal for you as our patient is to restore and maintain the health of your teeth and supporting structures (bone and gums). We strive to provide a comfortable experience with a friendly atmosphere. We try to make coming to the dentist enjoyable and relaxing.
During your initial visit, you will meet the doctor, receive necessary radiographs (x-rays), and receive a comprehensive exam. She will then explain your dental needs and recommend treatment to fit your needs and desires.
Our Hygienists, whether during an advanced or normal cleaning, use skilled gentle hands and advanced ultrasonic technology to clean your teeth and surrounding structures. The type of cleaning you need can vary depending on the health of your gums and bone. A more advanced “deep” cleaning, can be recommended if you have any existing bone and gum concerns. Our hygienists consider your oral health and overall health very important, and will spend time discussing with you ways you can improve whether it is diet counseling or at home cleaning techniques.

In addition to getting your teeth cleaned, we want to address and discuss concerns and to educate patients on how to improve their oral and overall health. Dr. Ridley comes from a family of artists. Her passion is to make your teeth look beautifully natural and to feel natural too!
Dr. Ridley has trained with some of the top Cosmetic Dentists in the world. The way she treats her cases is a very unique process. She takes photos and molds of your teeth, then determines the ideal shape, contour and color that fits your face and personality. Then, she hand waxes your model to the ideal final outcome. At that point, she can impress the wax up and transform it into your mouth so that you can see an example of what your final smile will look like. This is called the smile design mock up. She will look at it with you and discuss things that you like and don't like. From that point, we remove the mockup and set an appointment to start treatment.
