About Whitening
Tooth whitening can be a very effective way of lightening the natural color of your teeth without removing any of the tooth surface. Whitening will not make a complete color change, but it may lighten the existing shade a bit.
Whitening Process
For our whitening process, we will add material over you gums to protect them and ensure as little sensitivity as possible. We then apply a layer of whitening gel over the teeth and let sit for 20 minutes before removing the gel. We can repeat this up to three times, or as long as the patient is comfortable.
At Rose City Dentistry, we also offer at home bleaching trays. We would take impressions of your teeth, create molds, and fabricate custom bleaching trays for you to whiten at your convenience in the comfort of your home. Of course, we will give you thorough instructions to do so.
